There is no magic involved in solar. Solar water heaters can be surprisingly simple,
comprising mainly panels pumps and pipes.
Park
your car in the sun and it gets hot. Double glaze its roof, insulate all the rest and it gets hotter
still. Paint it black inside, put a pipe inside and you have a prototype solar heater. All you need to do now is remove the heat and store it until you need it, in a well insulated container.
