Solartwin solar water heating systems are now fully available for solar grants under the UK’s Low Carbon Buildings Programme (LCBP). Previously grants were only available via third party installers. Now they are available for Solartwin installations.

Solar water heating grants for Solartwin solar water heating installations are available nationally, at the following levels:

• 50% for schools, social homes and other community projects under DECC’s Low Carbon Buildings Programme phase 2. LCBP 2 Rules here. LCBP 2 Apply here.
• 50% to 100% community projects www.communitysustainable.org.

Money allocated via LCBP phase 2 must be spent by April 2011, which is when the scheme closes. This means applications need to be submitted at least 4 months before the close date to allow for grant processing and installation of your systems.
